Carolyn April is carrying out doctoral research, supported by the Rhodes Trust, investigating the implications of developments in neuroscience for the understanding of moral decision-making in the light of an analysis of the assumptions about 'human nature' made by moral philosophers and approaches to ethics. This research is supervised by Professor Michael Parker.
