Research summary
Dr Angeliki Kerasidou is the Ethics Co-ordinator for the Malaria Genomic Epidemiology Network (MalariaGEN). She is a bioethicist and theologian. She has studied theology, philosophy and ethics in Greece, Germany and the UK and she gained her DPhil in Bioethics at the University of Oxford in 2009. Dr Kerasidou is also member of the Society Religion and Technology Project committee, Church of Scotland. Her research so far has focused on theories of philosophical and theological anthropology, cloning, stem cell research, assisted reproduction, synthetic biology, and on the moral value of human life.
Angeliki is the Director of the Ethox Centre's Visiting Scholarship Scheme.
