The Ethox Centre provides ethics support to a wide range of health professionals with the ethical problems
arising in their day-to-day practice, and is involved in the development of innovative forms of ethics support
within healthcare organisations. The Centre also provides ethics support for a wide-range of medical

The Ethox Centre supports the development of clinical ethics provision in the UK in a number of different ways
including the provision of support and training to the members of existing clinical ethics committees and those

The Ethox Centre plays a leading role in the UK Genethics Club: a national forum for genetics professionals, including
nurses, counsellors, geneticists, and laboratory staff to present and discuss ethical issues arising in their day-to-day
